In this role, you will provide patient-centered care to individuals undergoing cancer treatment while supporting patients and families throughout their healthcare journey. The Oncology RN collaborates with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary team members to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care focused on safety, comfort, and optimal outcomes.How you grow, learn and thrive matters here. Responsibilities: *Provides direct patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting individual patient needs, actions taken and patient responses. Qualifications: *Associates degree from accredited academic nursing program preferred, with expectation of BSN completion within 5 years of hire. Education agreement contract to be signed upon hire.*BSN degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program preferred *State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License *2 years medical surgical or ICU nursing experience preferred, *Experience in Oncology or Infusion centers preferred. *Must maintain chemotherapy/biotherapy/immunotherapy provider certification during employment in Oncology department. *Chemotherapy/Biotherapy/Immunotherapy provider certification required within 1 month of hire *National Oncology Certification required to be obtained within 2-3 years of hire. *Maintain educational requirements as per standards related to national oncology accreditations upheld by Cancer Care Services. *ACLS required *BLS required *PALS required UPDATED 2/10/23 We're all about well-being, starting with yours.
