Keysight Technologies is seeking a strategic, hands-on Sales Director to lead our Enterprise Sales team across the western United States. This is an opportunity to shape the growth of a high-potential region by strengthening customer coverage, building new pipeline, and expanding Keysight's relationships with large enterprise customers. The Sales Director will lead and develop a team of approximately six enterprise sellers while owning the region's sales strategy, revenue performance, forecast discipline, and account execution.

This is a player-coach leadership role for someone who enjoys staying close to customers, people, and important opportunities. The Sales Director will coach the team through complex sales cycles, establish relationships with senior customer leaders, and bring together Keysight's sales, technical, channel, and business resources to address customers' most important challenges. The successful candidate will know how to translate a broader business strategy into focused field execution, identify where Keysight can create greater customer value, and help the team turn that potential into sustainable growth.

The ideal candidate has successfully led quota-carrying enterprise sales professionals and has a record of developing teams, expanding territories, and delivering measurable revenue results. They will bring credibility in executive-level customer conversations, sound business judgment, and the ability to balance coaching and accountability with direct involvement in strategic deals. Established relationships within the western enterprise market, particularly in California, and experience selling complex technology solutions through direct, channel, and technical partners would be especially valuable.

Candidates should be based in the western United States. Preferred locations include Orange County or the greater Los Angeles area, Phoenix, and the San Francisco Bay Area. Candidates in other western locations, including Colorado and Nevada, may also be considered based on their experience, customer relationships, and proximity to the territory.

    • Own the region's quarterly and annual revenue performance, pipeline development, forecast accuracy, and long-term growth.
    • Evaluate customer coverage, competitive activity, and areas of untapped potential to strengthen Keysight's presence across the region.
    • Collaborate with business leaders and cross-functional partners to align field execution with Keysight's strategic priorities.
  • Team Leadership and Development
    • Lead, coach, and develop a team of enterprise sales professionals, establishing clear goals and fostering a culture of high performance, accountability, collaboration, and inclusion.

    • Bring together the appropriate Keysight sales, technical, business, and leadership resources to develop solutions that address customer needs and create measurable value.
    • Develop productive relationships with channel and technology partners to expand customer access, strengthen solutions, and accelerate growth.
    • Champion the customer experience by ensuring effective communication, coordination, and support throughout the sales process.
  • Business Growth and Operational Excellence
    • Identify and pursue opportunities to expand existing customer relationships, develop new enterprise accounts, and build a sustainable pipeline across the region.
    • Use sales data, customer insights, and market trends to guide account prioritization, resource allocation, and adjustments to the regional sales approach.
    • Establish strong forecast discipline and ensure opportunities are accurately assessed, documented, and advanced through the sales process.
    • Monitor performance against business objectives and take timely action to address gaps, remove obstacles, and improve results.

Qualifications

  • Proven ability to build, coach, and develop high-performing sales teams while establishing clear expectations and accountability.
  • Experience selling complex technology solutions to large enterprise customers through multi-stakeholder and executive-level buying processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience rebuilding or accelerating growth within an underdeveloped territory, customer segment, or sales organization.
