TheNew Site Opening Manager plays a critical role in developing and launchingworld-class facilities for one of the most progressive brands in the world. AsTesla continues to expand its global footprint, this role is responsible forensuring new locations are thoughtfully planned, fully operational, and readyto deliver an exceptional experience for our customers and teams from day one.

Theideal candidate understands the complexity of opening new facilities andthrives in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment. This role requiresstrong organizational and project management skills, exceptional communication,and the ability to build productive relationships with internal and externalstakeholders. You will coordinate across multiple functions, proactivelyidentify and resolve challenges, and ensure every aspect of a new site openingis executed to a high standard.

What You'll Do

  • Manage relationships and
    expectations across multiple stakeholders, providing clear communication
    and regular status updates from initial planning through site opening
  • Perform critical site checks
    during each phase of the opening process to identify blockers, risks, and
    opportunities and drive timely resolution
  • Maintain strong working
    relationships with stakeholders and proactively communicate project
    status, risks, and required actions
  • Partner closely with
    Infrastructure and support teams to provide feedback on Real Estate,
    Design, Construction, Facilities, Security, EHS, IT, Field Operations, and
    Customer Programs teams to ensure all site requirements are completed
  • Work as a support system for
    regional and site leadership leading up to opening and continue to provide
    operational support
  • Identify opportunities to
    improve the site-opening process, establish best practices, and create
    scalable solutions that can be applied across future openings
  • Coordinate
    the ordering and delivery of equipment, products, and materials; track
    shipments; follow up on delayed purchase orders; and escalate issues to
    ensure critical deliverables are received on time

What You'll Bring

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant
    experience in project management, operations, construction, facilities,
    real estate, or related field
  • Demonstrated experience
    managing and supporting successful site openings, construction projects,
    or complex operational initiatives
  • Strong organizational and
    project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities,
    timelines, and internal and external stakeholders simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal
    communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships
    across all levels of an organization
  • Strong analytical and
    problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and
    resolving challenges with minimal guidance and in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability
    to travel up to 70% of the time, including frequent travel to new and
    developing locations
