Overview
Commercial Engineering & AI (CEAI) partners with stakeholders to transform Microsoft support through AI-native engineering, modern platforms, and intelligent customer experiences. Our teams design, build, and operate secure, reliable, and scalable services that help customers find information, resolve issues, and connect with the right support. Support Experience Group (SxG) is the engineering organization within Commercial Engineering & AI (CEAI) that builds and operates the platforms powering Microsoft's Customer Experience & Success (CE&S) support mission, including Dynamics for Microsoft (DfM) case management, CaseBuddy, Engage Center, the SxG ICon support portals, and AI-agent services. SxG delivers these across commercial and sovereign/government cloud boundaries including public/commercial Azure, and several specialized cloud environments, which includes a compliance-sensitive, multi-cloud footprint that drives a persistent need for cleared, high-side-capable engineers. You will join a small team of cleared high-side engineers supporting SxG's expanding scope and rising demand on the government and air-gapped cloud environments SxG supports. This team delivers the cloud parity charter, bringing Microsoft's commercial-grade customer-support capabilities (DfM case management, CaseBuddy, Engage Center, and AI-agent services) to government and sovereign customers whose environments are disconnected from the commercial cloud and governed by federal compliance and accreditation requirements. The work is distinct from commercial engineering: every capability we ship must be adapted to operate without direct internet connectivity, validated against the security controls of each cloud, and deployed through constrained, audited release pipelines. You will work across the full stack and the full delivery lifecycle, and your decisions directly affect whether high-side customers get parity with the commercial support experience. Responsibilities
