The College of Education & Human Development (CEHD) seeks an enthusiastic candidate for the Recruitment Coordinator position to assist in the development, implementation, and evaluation of undergraduate recruitment programs. The individual in this position reports to the Director of Recruitment and College Engagement and works in conjunction with the Senior Recruitment Coordinator to drive strategic recruitment efforts, expand outreach, and facilitate retention, and overall success of all members of our student community. This role includes administrative responsibilities, data collection, event coordination, mentorship, collaboration, and educator duties that shift based on student need, projects, and programming occurring during the academic calendar.

Job Description

To support recruitment endeavors, specific duties include, but not limited to:

* Conduct presentations and building tours in coordination with other recruitment staff and participate in on-campus recruitment events for prospective students and their families (some evenings and weekends required).
* Travel to high schools, community colleges, and college fairs across Missouri and select out-of-state locations to deliver presentations and represent the CEHD (some evenings and weekends required).
* Maintain accurate records and databases related to undergraduate recruitment and the CEHD Leadership Ambassador program.
* Complete administrative tasks such as registering for conferences, college fairs, travel authorization forms, travel planning, etc.
* Work collaboratively with CEHD Senior Recruitment Coordinator, student ambassadors, student workers, staff, and faculty.
* Contribute to the overall success of the Office of Recruitment & College Engagement through teamwork and shared responsibilities.
* Perform additional duties as assigned to support the mission and goals of the college.

Success in this role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to engage prospective students and families, proficiency in developing and delivering presentations, collaboration with other units in the Division of Student Success & Academic Affairs, and the capacity to create and evaluate recruitment metrics.

Shift

Monday through Friday
8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
With anticipated nights and weekends during the busiest phases of the recruitment cycle.

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary

Preferred Qualifications

The preferred candidate will have:
* Proficiency in public speaking and/or facilitation.
* Experience with recruitment and retention efforts and programming.
* Knowledge of Mizzou Education and Human Development programs and/or teacher education
* Familiarity with Outlook, Google Drive, Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, and Zoom.
* A valid Driver's license.

Anticipated Hiring Range

Salary Range: $22.10 to $26.00
