School of Nursing Job Description
The Clinical Site Coordinator is responsible for identifying and recruiting clinical sites for nurse midwifery students. Once sites have been identified this role will develop, coordinate, and maintain clinical education partnerships that support the Certified Nurse Midwife Program within the School of Nursing. This position serves as the primary liaison between the School of Nursing and clinical agencies, ensuring high-quality clinical learning experiences that meet state regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, institutional policies, and program objectives. The Clinical Site Coordinator collaborates with healthcare facilities, physician and advanced practice providers, faculty, students, and administrative staff to secure clinical placements, manage affiliation agreements, monitor compliance requirements, and support student clinical success. This position is also responsible for developing and implementing recruitment strategies to attract qualified applicants to the Graduate Certified Nurse-Midwife program, with a focus on students who intend on serving rural Missouri communities. Key Responsibilities Shift
Core business hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Extended hours may occur during peak cycles or during travel for site visits. Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 4 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary Preferred Qualifications
* BSN or equivalent; MSN preferred Anticipated Hiring Range
