Position Summary

The University of New Mexico College of Fine Arts (CFA)
seeks a collaborative and creative Marketing Manager to lead college-wide
communications, marketing, and outreach efforts that strengthen the visibility
of CFA's academic programs, people, events, and impact. Working closely with
College leadership and its academic and programmatic units, the Marketing
Manager develops and implements communication and marketing strategies that
connect CFA with students, alumni, community members, donors, arts
organizations, and other external stakeholders. The position develops
compelling content across print and digital platforms, including social media,
newsletters, websites, promotional materials, press releases, email
communications, and stories highlighting faculty, staff, student, and alumni
accomplishments. The Marketing Manager also supports coverage of CFA events
through accessible photography and visual content that captures the activity
and character of the College.

Serving as CFA's primary communications and marketing
liaison to University Communication and Marketing (UCAM), the Marketing Manager
provides college-level coordination and guidance for communications and
marketing activities across CFA's diverse units. The position works
collaboratively with departmental and unit-based communications and marketing
representatives to promote consistent messaging, effective practices,
appropriate use of the UNM brand, and coordinated promotion of college
priorities while recognizing the distinct audiences and identities of
individual programs. The Marketing Manager provides oversight and coordination
of CFA web content and digital presence; identifies opportunities for earned
media and external engagement; develops communications calendars and campaigns;
tracks the effectiveness of marketing and outreach activities; and advises
College leadership on communications strategies that advance enrollment,
engagement, reputation, and community connection.
