This pivotal Senior Project Manager role offers an exciting opportunity to lead projects across various functional areas within Information Technology, ensuring their successful planning and execution. You will be instrumental in shaping strategic outcomes, fostering collaboration, and driving innovation, making a tangible impact on critical operations and overall organizational success.

What You'll Do



  • Lead and manage medium to complex projects across diverse functional areas within Information Technology, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and key artifacts, driving projects from initiation to successful completion.
  • Actively coordinate all project activities, assign tasks to team members, manage vendor relationships, and monitor progress to ensure timely and effective execution.
  • Anticipate, identify, and proactively address potential risks and issues, developing and implementing solutions with limited supervision.
  • Facilitate strong team collaboration, resolve conflicts, and foster an environment that encourages collective achievement of project goals.
  • Identify and engage key stakeholders, understanding their interests, anticipating resistance, and building strong, trust-based relationships.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project information and documentation using standard tools and platforms.
  • Develop and manage comprehensive communication plans, adapting methods to effectively convey messages and provide regular project status reports.
  • Assess existing practices, identify areas for optimization, and lead initiatives to establish standardization that enhances project execution and promotes efficient collaboration.
  • Mentor junior project managers, sharing insights, explaining concepts, and providing guidance on methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Apply various project methodologies appropriately to different scenarios, demonstrating adaptability and expertise.


Required Skills & Qualifications



  • Proven experience managing diverse and complex projects within Information Technology.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt messaging for various audiences.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including fostering team collaboration and resolving conflicts.
  • Proficiency in change management principles and practices.
  • High emotional intelligence to navigate team dynamics and stakeholder relationships effectively.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Solid business and financial acumen, including budget management expertise.
  • Experience in vendor management and coordination.
  • In-depth understanding and practical application of various project management methodologies and tools.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
