Position Overview

This position can be based remotely in the United States.

The Navigator, Global serves as a trusted advisor and discovery catalyst across Vantage's business functions. This role acts as a critical bridge between business operations and AI possibilities, translating operational friction points, strategic challenges, and emerging opportunities into validated opportunities for AI-driven transformation.

Rather than managing programs or building solutions, this Navigator discovers, validates, prioritizes, and prepares high-impact AI opportunities for rapid prototyping and implementation by the appropriate delivery teams.

Unlike Navigators aligned to a specific business pillar, the Navigator, Global operates horizontally across the enterprise, flexing to areas of greatest business need, supporting cross-functional opportunities, and providing additional discovery capacity as demand evolves.

Success requires equal parts business acumen, technical fluency, intellectual curiosity, and the interpersonal skills to build trust with diverse stakeholders and rapidly understand unfamiliar business domains.

Essential Job Functions

  • Build trusted relationships across Vantage business functions, becoming a go-to resource for identifying and shaping AI opportunities.

  • Conduct structured discovery sessions to understand business objectives, map current-state workflows, identify friction points, and uncover opportunities for AI-enabled improvement.

  • Rapidly develop sufficient domain understanding to operate credibly across multiple business functions without requiring deep specialization in a single pillar.

  • Identify opportunities spanning multiple business functions and ensure appropriate stakeholder alignment before handoff.

  • Prepare validated opportunities for handoff to Accelerators and other delivery teams, ensuring sufficient business context and success criteria exist to support rapid prototyping.

  • Champion responsible AI principles throughout discovery and opportunity development, including appropriate consideration of privacy, security, accessibility, data governance, human oversight, and organizational risk.

  • Build and maintain stakeholder and champion networks across the organization to strengthen AI adoption and surface emerging opportunities.

  • Monitor emerging AI capabilities and translate relevant developments into practical possibilities for Vantage.

  • Support change and adoption by helping stakeholders understand how AI can augment human expertise and improve business outcomes.

  • Track discovery pipeline health, opportunity progression, business value, and conversion into implemented solutions.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement of Navigator methodologies, discovery frameworks, governance practices, and enterprise AI strategy.

Duties

  • Conduct regular listening tours and stakeholder engagements across business functions to understand evolving priorities, operational challenges, and opportunities that could benefit from AI augmentation.

  • Facilitate discovery workshops that help business leaders examine current-state workflows, identify underlying business problems, and envision new AI-enabled ways of working.

  • Document opportunity assessments capturing business context, current-state challenges, expected value, data and system requirements, dependencies, risks, resource implications, and measurable success criteria.

  • Partner with business and functional leaders to define outcome-focused success measures and establish a clear value hypothesis for proposed AI opportunities.

  • Collaborate with Accelerators, Platform, Security, Legal, Data, and other relevant teams to evaluate feasibility, dependencies, governance considerations, and appropriate paths to implementation.

  • Support pillar-aligned Navigators on priority initiatives requiring additional discovery capacity, cross-functional coordination, or complementary expertise.

  • Identify patterns and synergies across business functions, connecting similar challenges and opportunities to reusable AI capabilities where appropriate.

  • Translate AI concepts into clear business language that enables stakeholders to evaluate opportunities based on business outcomes rather than technical capabilities.

  • Support change readiness and adoption by helping stakeholders understand how proposed AI solutions augment existing expertise, workflows, and decision-making.

  • Maintain clear and current opportunity documentation and ensure validated opportunities are sufficiently defined for effective handoff to delivery teams.

  • Track discovery pipeline health, opportunity progression, handoffs, and conversion into implemented solutions and measurable business outcomes.

  • Capture lessons from discovery engagements and contribute to continuous improvement of Navigator methodologies, intake processes, prioritization frameworks, and governance practices.

  • Stay informed on emerging AI capabilities and proactively connect relevant advancements to Vantage business challenges and opportunities.

  • Handle additional duties as assigned by Management.
