Aug 25, 2026
Company

thyssenkrupp Automotive Technology is a global supplier and engineering partner to the automotive industry. We provide high-tech components, systems, and automation solutions designed to meet customer needs with top-tier quality and performance.

Our portfolio includes chassis technologies like steering and damping systems, axle assembly, and powertrain components for both traditional and alternative engines. We also develop body-in-white assembly systems and produce lightweight car body parts.

We cover the full value chain, from development and manufacturing to mechanical processing and system integration. Mechatronic solutions with in-house electronics and software are becoming increasingly central.

With strong technical expertise and a global footprint, we're a trusted partner delivering real value to our customers.

Your responsibilities

For more than 200 years, thyssenkrupp has engineered what comes next. Our Automotive Technology division puts that expertise to work every day, developing the high-tech components and systems that move the industry forward. Behind every one of those advances is a team someone had to find, hire, and build. That is where you come in.

As a Corporate Talent Acquisition Specialist, you own full-cycle recruiting for the professional and leadership talent that keeps our automotive operations running and growing: engineering, operations, supply chain, and the managers and executives who lead them. You will work alongside hiring managers and HR across our sites on roles that are often business-critical and rarely simple. If you want recruiting that is equal parts strategy, relationships, and results, you will feel at home here.

This role is a 12 month contract, and it is remote. Compensation: $80,000 - $100,000.

What you'll do

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting from intake through offer and onboarding handoff, owning the candidate and hiring manager experience at every step.
  • Carry an active desk of roughly 15 to 25 requisitions per month across engineering, operations, supply chain, and leadership roles.
  • Source proactively through professional networks, LinkedIn, referrals, industry associations, universities, and technical programs, and build pipelines for the roles we hire for again and again.
  • Screen candidates against role-specific competency models and deliver shortlists hiring managers can act on with confidence.
  • Keep candidates and stakeholders informed throughout the process, and coach hiring managers on structured interviewing and sound hiring decisions.
  • Maintain accurate data in the ATS and track the metrics that matter, including time to fill, pipeline health, and quality of hire.
  • Translate wage, market, and talent-supply trends into workforce planning insight for NA HR and site leadership.
  • Safeguard compliance across federal, state, and local law, internal policy, and union agreements, and keep the function audit-ready for IATF and internal HR reviews.

Your profile

What you'll bring

  • 5+ years of full-cycle corporate recruiting, including engineering, operations, or other salaried professional roles.
  • A track record of managing a high-volume, multi-function desk without letting quality slip.
  • Strong sourcing instincts and fluency with modern recruiting tools and channels.
  • Sharp interviewing and assessment skills, and the judgment to read fit beyond the resume.
  • Working knowledge of the laws that shape hiring: EEO, OFCCP, and state-specific requirements.
  • Clear, credible communication with everyone from candidates to plant leadership.
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

What sets you apart

  • Experience recruiting in automotive or industrial manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with both union and non-union environments.
  • Exposure to TA projects, process improvement, or ATS configuration (Talentlink a plus).
  • A data-driven approach and the confidence to influence hiring decisions with it.
  • Knowledge of thyssenkrupp and how a global automotive organization operates.
