Job Title: Electro -Mechanical Technician
Location: Wendell, NC
Employment: Contract (12 months)
Industry: Manufacturing
Compensation: $22.46/hour
Schedule: 40hours /week

What You'll Do:
  • Assemble and wire industrial control and protection panels using electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, AC/DC diagrams, and wire from-to lists.
  • Perform mechanical assembly tasks, including reading mechanical drawings and installing DIN rail, cable duct, hardware, and related components.
  • Cut, strip, crimp, dress, and route wire while using hand, power, and torque tools according to specified requirements.
  • Perform point-to-point testing and basic troubleshooting using multimeters to verify assembly quality and functionality.
  • Follow EHS, quality, 6S, housekeeping, and continuous improvement practices while maintaining accurate digital work instructions, task records, and timekeeping.
Job Requirements
What You'll Bring:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of experience in Electrical and Mechanical Assembly
  • 2+ years of experience in wiring industrial control panels
  • 2+ years of experience in control wiring
  • 2+ years of experience in reading Mechanical and electrical documentation
  • 2+ years of experience in panel assembly, electrical wiring, or electro-mechanical manufacturing
What Sets You Apart:
  • Proficiensy with impact drivers, torque screw drivers, crimping tools, stripping tools.
  • Basic tools knowledge- wrench, hardwares- sizes of scres/nuts/bolts
  • Efficient with computer and use of different applications
  • Understanding of safety & quality, improvements, organization, maintaining a clean work environment
  • Intermediate mechanical assembly skills, including reading mechanical elevation drawings and processing DIN rail and cable duct.
  • Proficiency with common hand, power, and torque tools, including applying required torque values and markings.
  • Intermediate electrical assembly skills, including reading schematics, wiring diagrams, AC/DC diagrams, and wire from-to lists.
  • Wire-processing certification or demonstrated proficiency in cutting, stripping, crimping, dressing, and routing wire.
  • Ability to produce neat, clean, and professional assemblies.
  • Proficiency using multimeters for point-to-point testing and basic troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency with digital work instructions, SieOps calendars, execution tasks, and timekeeping.
  • Demonstrated commitment to EHS, quality, 6S, housekeeping, and continuous improvement.
  • Working knowledge of UL 508A requirements; MTR UL 508A certification preferred or obtainable within the established training period.
  • Knowledge of UL 698A requirements.
