What You'll Do:
- Assemble and wire mechanical and electrical components, including MCC-related components and low-voltage compartments, following standardized work instructions.
- Learn to interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and wiring diagrams to support accurate panel assembly.
- Perform basic wire processing, including cutting, stripping, crimping, dressing, and routing, while developing proficiency with hand, power, and torque tools.
- Use tools such as a multimeter to perform point-to-point verification and basic testing after appropriate training.
- Maintain high standards for safety, quality, housekeeping, and 6S while actively participating in training and continuous improvement initiatives.
What You'll Bring:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 2+ years of experience with wiring mechanical components, MCC- part sizes (without the copper involved).
What Sets You Apart:
- Manufacturing, assembly, electrical, vocational, or apprenticeship experience.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to learn mechanical drawing interpretation.
- Ability to safely use common hand, power, and torque tools after training.
- Ability to learn DIN rail and cable duct processing requirements.
- Basic electrical assembly knowledge and ability to learn schematic and wiring diagram interpretation.
- Ability to complete wire-processing certification and perform basic cutting, stripping, crimping, dressing, and routing.
- Ability to follow standardized work instructions and produce quality assemblies under supervision.
- Ability to learn multimeter use for point-to-point verification and basic testing.
- Basic computer skills and ability to use digital work instructions, SieOps, execution tasks, and timekeeping tools.
- Commitment to EHS, quality, 6S, housekeeping, and continuous improvement.
- Ability to complete necessary product, workmanship, and UL 508A training.
- Has the ability to learn.
- Basic knowledge of the environment.
- Someone that can come in and learn at entry level that has basic mechanical and electrical engagement.
- Low voltage compartments knowledge.
- Good attitude that wants to learn.
