We are currently hiring a Residential Garbage Truck Driver to join our team in New Port Richey, Florida.

Pay rate $25.00 an hour DOE

Schedule

• Monday through Friday
• Day shift begins at 3:00 AM
• Typical workday is 10-11 hours
• Opportunity to work every third Saturday for additional overtime
• Full-time, year-round employment

Position Summary

As a Residential Garbage Truck Driver, you will safely operate a garbage truck along designated routes while providing excellent service to our customers. This position requires physical activity, including heavy lifting and frequent entry and exit from the vehicle throughout the day.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a residential garbage truck on assigned routes
• Provide courteous, professional customer service
• Perform job duties efficiently while maintaining safety standards
• Lift, move, and handle materials weighing 50+ pounds
• Climb in and out of the truck throughout the workday
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or Class B CDL
• Minimum of 2 years of work experience, preferably in a driving-related role
• Stable employment history
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly throughout the day
• Ability and willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Previous garbage truck or waste industry experience is a plus
• Veterans are strongly encouraged to apply
