AMSOIL INC. is expanding our team with a Quality & EHS Specialist at our AMSOIL Milwaukee location! We are looking for an organized, safety-minded professional who takes pride in maintaining compliance, identifying opportunities for improvement, facilitating audits and training, and supporting a culture of quality and safety.

By supporting quality management systems, environmental compliance, safety programs, audits, training, and continuous improvement efforts, the Quality & EHS Specialist helps protect employees, strengthen operational performance, and ensure AMSOIL continues to meet our standards and regulatory requirements.


Scheduled hours: In office Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm



What you will own:


Enterprise Alignment & Governance



  • Lead site-level Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety (QA/EHS) responsibilities in alignment with AMSOIL standards, policies, management systems, and applicable regulations.
  • Ensure local practices, procedures, documentation, and controls meet enterprise expectations and support audit readiness.
  • Identify and escalate risks, gaps, and compliance concerns through established governance processes.


Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement



  • Own and strengthen the site Quality Management System (QMS), including ISO requirements, audits, corrective actions, and certifications.
  • Analyze quality trends and nonconformances, lead root cause analysis, and drive effective corrective actions.
  • Partner with operations and cross-functional teams to solve problems, reduce risk, and deliver continuous improvement.


Environmental, Health & Safety



  • Lead site EHS programs, training, inspections, and compliance activities in alignment with AMSOIL standards and OSHA, EPA, and applicable regulations.
  • Conduct safety audits and job hazard analyses; investigate incidents and drive corrective actions.
  • Support the Environmental Management System (EMS), including ISO 14001 requirements, environmental compliance, and ESG-related reporting.


Engagement & Partnership



  • Build a strong culture of quality, safety, and compliance through clear communication, training, and collaboration.
  • Engage teams across the organization to identify risks, solve problems, and create practical improvements that keep our workplace safe, compliant, and continuously improving.



What you bring:



  • A bachelor's degree in Quality Assurance, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience that prepares you to successfully perform the role.
  • 1+ years of experience in quality assurance, EHS, safety-focused work, or a related role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards, with the ability to support site-level quality and EHS systems.
  • Understanding of OSHA, EPA, and applicable federal, state, and local environmental, health, and safety regulations.
  • Ability to execute site-level QA/EHS responsibilities while staying aligned with AMSOIL corporate standards, policies, procedures, and management systems.
  • Strong judgment and communication skills, including the ability to identify gaps, risks, or deviations and escalate concerns through appropriate governance channels.
  • Detailed analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to support audits, investigate nonconformances or incidents, participate in root cause analysis, and help drive corrective actions.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate documentation, records, reports, audit materials, and corrective action tracking.
  • Ability to partner effectively with operations and cross-functional teams to resolve quality, safety, environmental, and compliance-related issues.
  • Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and ability to be insurable for AMSOIL INC. vehicles.

Pay Range: Salary: $64,800 - $76,200
