Position Overview The Sales Recruiter is responsible for identifying and attracting top-tier talent using proven tools and strategies. This role partners closely with divisional and regional managers to fulfill annual headcount plans, conducts training to enhance recruiting practices, and ensures compliance with all legal standards. By fostering a positive candidate experience, you'll help build and grow a world-class sales force aligned with Kimball Midwest's goals. Responsibilities * Recruits using established Kimball Midwest tools, including street recruiting, phone contacting and screening, and the Ideal Candidate Profile, as documented in the Kimball Midwest Managers' Manual and Focused Approach to Recruiting * Coordinates with assigned Divisional/Regional Managers to achieve annual headcount plan, including but not limited to; Completing an annual plan hiring calendar and activity calendar for assigned division, Scheduling and documenting bi-monthly interview days and street recruiting days for hiring managers, and planning field visits based on the hiring and activity calendar needs * Documents all stages of the recruiting process * Sources candidates from a mixture of internet sourced candidates, field identified candidates, job board sourced candidates, and other sources * Submits all Field Visit Reports within 24 hours of return to the office from the field * Submits all Top-grade write-ups within 24 hours of Top-grade interviews * Conducts follow-up field training with SMITs and Managers who attend Attract & Develop training * Utilizes and trains managers on proper recruiting techniques as outlined in the Focused Approach to Recruiting training binder * Provides complete activity-based updates in CRM on a regular basis detailing leads acquired, contacts made, interviews scheduled and on-going follow-up * Participates in the training of the sales management team, in conjunction with the Sales Recruiting Supervisor, including all aspects of The Focused Approach to Recruiting * Responsible for ensuring that the company employment policies and procedures conform to applicable laws and regulations. Stays abreast of potential legislation which may affect operations. Maintains current information regarding employment laws and trends in Human Resources Management and communicates these to field management personnel * Effectively utilizes computer systems to coordinate communication with sales managers and in-field recruiters. Maintains a complete computer database of all candidates both internally and in the field. Schedules follow-up with recruits in a thorough and complete manner * Effectively utilizes the internet to generate hiring leads. Works closely with sales management to ensure that leads are promptly investigated, candidates are screened and notified quickly and professionally, and the process is managed properly from initial contact through hiring to productive training and other retention activities Qualifications * 1-3 years of recruiting experience * Proficient computer literacy in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.) * Superior ability to communicate with co-workers, supervisors, managers, sales representatives, and members of the general public in both written and verbal form * The ability to read and write small letters and numbers; the ability to make arithmetic calculations; and the ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions * The successful completion of a ninety (90) day orientation period Additional Information ***This role is remote with some periodic in-office requirements. Must live in the state of Ohio to be considered for this position.
