Department of Psychiatry Job Description
The Center for Child Well-Being, housed within the Department of Psychiatry in the University of Missouri School of Medicine, seeks a Behavioral Resource and Referral Specialist to support our Psychiatry Access programs, including the Missouri Child Psychiatry Access Project (MO-CPAP) and the Maternal Health Access Project (MHAP). The ideal candidate will be compassionate, service-oriented, and skilled at building relationships with patients, families, providers, and community partners. They will have strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess individual needs and identify appropriate behavioral health resources. This position requires the ability to manage multiple competing priorities while maintaining accurate documentation, timely follow-through, and a high level of service. Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Responds to all MHAP/MO-CPAP calls and requests, screens and triages needs, completes intake, and coordinates appropriate referrals and provider scheduling. Shift
Monday - Friday Please note that this position requires some after-hours and weekend shifts to provide full coverage for our resource access hotline. Hours may shift on a weekly basis. Minimum Qualifications
Master's degree in psychology, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or social work and relevant licensure (or eligible to be licensed within 12 months) within the State of Missouri. Preferred Qualifications
Education: LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or provisionally-licensed professional (LMSW, PLPC, LMFT-A) preferred. Anticipated Hiring Range
Salary Range: $60,000 - $65,000 annually Application Materials
