Athletics & Recreation Job Description
Missouri University of Science and Technology, a NCAA Division II institution in the Great Lakes Valley Conference, is accepting applications for a head coach for highly successful men's golf program. The successful candidate will be a positive, enthusiastic individual who is committed to the continued academic and athletic success of student-athletes and will adhere to all NCAA and GLVC rules. The individual selected will be responsible for all aspects of operation and management of the golf program. Duties may include, but are not limited to, recruiting, budgeting, fundraising, scheduling competitions, scheduling and planning practice at the local golf course, and cultivating alumni and relationships in the community. This position requires personal and professional integrity, an excellent work ethic, time management, and exceptional motivational and communication skills.
Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in related/relevant area or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 6 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary Preferred Qualifications
Anticipated Hiring Range
The anticipated hiring range for this position has been established as $45,000-$47000 annually. Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the individual's particular combination of education, skills, and experience, as well as organizational requirements. Your total compensation goes beyond the number on your paycheck. The University of Missouri provides generous leave, health plans, and retirement contributions that add to your bottom line.
