We are seeking a Lighting Project Manager in our San Antonio location to fulfill lighting projects that meet the objectives and expectations of our clients and stakeholders.



At minimum, you'll need:



  • Bachelor's Degree in Technical Theatre, Project Management or equivalent sales and construction experience (4+ years).
  • 3 years of Project Management experience in commercial construction trades, manufacturing, or machinery installation.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Vectorworks.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Theatre Lighting System Design and Networking.



It would be great if you also have:



  • ETCP Lighting certification.
  • Working knowledge of entertainment and architectural lighting control systems (e.g., ETC, MA, ChamSys).
  • Experience with line voltage and low voltage (L/V) electrical testing and troubleshooting.



As a Project Manager a typical day might include:



  • Project Leadership: Perform project management duties such as project organization, budgeting, scheduling and purchasing/production functions.
  • Professional Interaction: Interact professionally with all designers, engineers, production personnel, contractors and customers involved with projects.
  • Documentation & Coordination: Manage drawing submittal coordination, release packing lists, and coordinate production schedules with engineering and operations.
  • Project Controls: Develop and submit RFIs and Change Orders; conduct risk analysis and mitigation; and manage subcontractor and vendor coordination.
  • Financial Management: Perform project billings, cost analysis, and regular review of margins, budgets and forecasting.
  • Continuous Improvement: Conduct postmortem reviews and identify Lessons Learned for future projects.
  • Compliance: Adhere to all workplace and trade safety laws, regulations, standards and practices.
