Position summary: The Labor Installation and Field Services Manager is responsible to oversee and direct the Turnkey installation program, including management of internal field operations staff, external subcontracting agreements and services, and maintaining all documentation and certifications required.
Educational requirements:
- High School Diploma required
- Four-year degree in construction management or related field preferred
Skills and experience:
- At least 5 years project management or progressive leadership experience. Construction experience is preferred. Prior Military experience is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written. Ability to multitask and maintain multiple, competing priorities
- Demonstrated organization and follow-up skills
Essential duties:
- Manage the installation component of the key Turnkey accounts: recruit and certify 25+ installation companies, manage their weekly schedules, resolve installation issues.
- Maintain the proficiency assurance of key core travel crews (subcontractors).
- Manage and maintain the subcontractor contract agreement process; work with Turnkey Program Coordinators to assure that all installation partners are compliant.
- Manage installation related claims related to Turnkey customers: maintain claims data base, create professional claim/site condition reports, and manage the claims resolution budget.
- Manage Field Services Case demand in Sales Force. Report back with site specific details. Manage and perform site supervision requests from Services Project Managers.
- Manage all technical documentation and requirements for successful flooring installation results; stay up to date on all new installation products and technologies.
- Act as the liaison with Interface and nora field services teams.
- Manage and maintain existing Interface Americas flooring state contractor licenses. Possess ability to function as the test taker for new Interface Americas flooring state contractor licenses as required.
- Function as a core team member facilitating the collaboration between AEs, Project Coordinators, Estimating and End Use Customers.
- Engage in National Contractor Networking Events.
- Research specific sundries partners to meet project objectives, maintain cost, reduce liability and risk. Develop close partnerships with manufacturers (Schonox, Taylor Adhesives etc.). Moisture Mitigation Solutions/Testing. Training with Interface product team on all install requirements and recommendations.
- Ability to obtain direct access to US Military bases without sponsorship.
Physical demands: Occasional lifting and moving of less than 50 lbs.
