Survey Intern - Summer 2027
Location: Regional Indiana offices
Employment Type: Full-Time Internship
For over 70 years Fishbeck has been building. As a 100% employee-owned firm, every team member has a stake in what we build together-our work, our reputation, and our future. Now we need to add a Survey Intern to help us keep building.
Working with our Surveying team, you will support a variety of survey projects across the firm.
What You'll Do
- Assist survey teams with field and office tasks across a variety of project types.
- Analyze data and help prepare technical reports.
- Collaborate with engineers and survey professionals across multiple offices.
- Participate in site visits and client meetings to observe project conditions firsthand.
What We're Looking For
- Currently enrolled in a Survey Engineering, Survey Technology, or Civil Engineering program.
- Ability to learn basic design concepts and technical calculations.
- GPS knowledge is a plus.
- Possess valid driver's license.
- Available for occasional travel, long hours, and occasional weekends.
- Ability to communicate effectively, follow direction, and work independently.
- Experience utilizing Microsoft Office including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
