Heavy Equipment Operator

Cape Fox Mountain Point is seeking Heavy Equipment Operators to support a government customer. The Heavy Equipment Operators must be experienced in operating forestry equipment such as a feller-buncher, hydro axe, air curtain, excavator, bulldozer, roller chopper and disc plow.

The total hourly pay for this non-exempt position is $30.09 per hour for up to 40 hours per week. This is comprised of a base hourly rate of $25.00 plus $5.09 per hour Health & Welfare (H&W) for up to 40 hours per week as required by the Service Contract Labor Standards (SCLS) regulations. This amount represents the company's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting

Responsibilities include:

Complete daily equipment inspection check lists

Maintain operational oil levels

Grease equipment

Operate equipment in a safe and productive manner
