Job Objective: Responsible for emergency assistance casework, food pantry, assisting in fund-raising and seasonal programs. Essential Functions:
Minimum Qualifications: Education: Minimum high school education, some post-secondary education preferred Experience: Business/office work, volunteer organization and supervision, casework preferred Certifications/Licenses: None Skills/Abilities:
Supervisory Duties: Assist overseeing and directing community volunteers. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Salvation Army policies and applicable laws. Physical Requirements: Include speaking, hearing, vision; sitting, walking, standing for extended periods of time, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, and twisting on an intermittent or occasional continuous basis; grasping, pushing, pulling, lifting objects up to 50 lbs.; traveling by airplane; both outdoor and indoor navigation of settings. Travel: None Driving: Driving is required; employee must possess a valid driver's license from the state in which you reside. Must be approved through The Salvation Army Fleet Safety Program to drive either a Salvation Army or personal vehicle on Salvation Army business. Working Conditions: Daily work is performed in a typical office environment; may require some weekend and evening work. Event work may include indoor/outdoor locations and other public venues.
