OB High Risk Ultrasound Technologist

We are seeking an experienced hospital or outpatient Ultrasound Technologist who is compassionate, patient-focused, professional, adaptable, and able to build strong relationships with patients and multidisciplinary teams in a community hospital environment.



  • Perform High-Risk OB/GYN ultrasound examinations while ensuring high-quality diagnostic imaging.
  • Schedule and prepare patients for ultrasound procedures.
  • Educate patients on the examination process and address questions or concerns.
  • Review patient history and collaborate with physicians to determine appropriate imaging.
  • Operate ultrasound equipment, select appropriate imaging parameters, and ensure optimal image quality.
  • Monitor patients throughout procedures and report any significant changes.
  • Document patient encounters and imaging results accurately using Epic EMR and PACS.
  • Perform routine equipment checks, maintain supplies, and support quality assurance initiatives.
  • Communicate regularly with the department supervisor regarding workflow, scheduling, and completed procedures.


Skills & Experience

  • High-Risk OB/GYN Ultrasound experience.
  • Experience using Epic EMR and PACS.
  • Excellent interpersonal and patient communication skills with a high level of professionalism.


Required Skills & Experience

  • One (1) year of High-risk obstetrical Ultrasound experience.


Required Education

  • Completion of an appropriate training program for Ultrasound Technologist to include Military Training.


Required Certifications & Licensure

  • Registered as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) by American Radiologic Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).


Preferred Certifications & Licensure

  • BLS (American Heart Association).
