We are looking to hire 7 Providers across multiple specialties (Surgical Pediatrics, Ortho/Neuro, Behavioral Health, Medica Specialties (example: Rheumatology, Dermatology, Pulmonary, Critical Care), Primary Care, and Community Health.
The Informatics Provider Systems Lead integrates medical, computer, and information science to manage and communicate content build, end user support, and adoption in clinical practice in support of the EPIC transformation. The role will be active in all phases of the EPIC life cycle, including organize, implement, optimize, and transform. Essential Job Functions: Facilitates the integration of evidence-based best practice and industry knowledge of successful implementation to support clinicians, physicians, and other providers in their use of EPIC. Responsible for supporting the development of order sets and clinical documentation that assist clinicians and physicians in the delivery of patient care through CPOE and note writing. Advocates the use of information technology in the clinical setting. Works with the EPIC build and administrative teams to meet the needs of clinicians and physicians by providing solutions which are aligned with organizational goals and objectives. Ensures excellence in customer service and communicates needs from clinicians to Information Technology and vice versa. Integrates workflow evaluations with Informatics build teams and projects, including review and monitoring of final design, build, validate efforts. Identifies and implements strategies to improve the overall quality of service and achievement of patient safety and quality goals. Assists in the decision-making on requests to help determine whether break/fix or optimization and in the potential prioritization of optimization opportunities. Is responsible for cascading key EPIC information and updates to stakeholders in each respective specialty, department and care site in a consistent manner. Is a key end user support resource for physicians during go-lives and short term post-go-lives to answer questions, provide personalization and efficiency tips and offer counsel and support. Education Requirements: REQUIRED: Clinical Training and Licensure as appropriate to clinical background and state requirements including but not limited to PhD, MD, DO, Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, etc. PREFERRED: Advanced training or formal education beyond medical degree is preferred Experience Requirements: Required: 3 years recent clinical care experience, either hospital or community-practice based Demonstrable, significant experience in health care Familiarity with matrix leadership in healthcare systems, including but not limited to clinical operations and process improvementDemonstrated ability to develop a strong rapport with physicians Demonstrated ability to translate technical terminology for understanding by non-technical audiences Understanding of the application of clinical data and process improvement Clinical workflow redesign experience Demonstrated leadership effectiveness in a healthcare setting PREFERRED: 5-plus years of experience in a medium to large healthcare integrated delivery system Prior experience collaborating between information technology and clinical leadership Implementation, optimization, and/or support of Epic Systems Corporation clinical Prior experience advocating use of technology and workflow redesign in the clinical setting Achieve a "Pass" rating from both the Physician Builder Basic and Advanced training classes. License/Certifications: Required: EPIC Certification License and Certification in applicable clinical field. Licensure in the state if required by the state board.
