Job Description

Plans, coordinates, and supports implementation and integration of Behavioral Health Acute Care quality improvement projects and collaborates with unit leadership to evaluate effectiveness. Manages Project Coordinator staff as assigned. Provides support to new and existing projects in the department with emphasis on the delivery of quality behavioral healthcare services that reflect understanding of the complex needs of the population we serve. Assists unit staff with specialized, ongoing treatment for patients with significant and complex needs. Plans, coordinates, and provides ongoing training and support for unit staff in collaboration with unit leadership and unit-based educators. Utilizes clinical expertise to ensure staff that work on their assigned units are providing quality and safe patient care while promoting evidence-based practices.

Minimum Requirements

  • Master's degree or the equivalent in combination of education and experience in human services-related field.

  • Minimum two years experience working with chronically ill and complex populations.

  • Strong, demonstrated leadership ability.

  • Superior communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Ability to maintain effective, working relationships with all levels of hospital employees and with multicultural clientele and staff.

  • Ability to effectively formulate, organize, implement, coordinate, and review plans for using information.

  • Maintain current BLS certification.

  • Completion of training as directed through Orientation and/or by Leadership, Management or Educators in the established timeline for continued employment.
