Advanced Practice Provider (Rheumatology) | Casa Grande, AZ
$10,000 Sign-On Bonus Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Thursday, 7:00 AM-5:00 PM (on-call as needed) The Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) delivers comprehensive care for patients with rheumatologic and autoimmune conditions in a collaborative outpatient setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage rheumatologic conditions including rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, osteoarthritis, psoriatic arthritis, gout, and spondyloarthropathies.
- Develop and manage treatment plans in partnership with rheumatologists and the care team.
- Prescribe and monitor therapies, including DMARDs, biologics, and corticosteroids.
- Interpret laboratory results, imaging, and other diagnostic testing.
- Provide patient education on diagnoses, treatment options, symptom management, and lifestyle modifications.
- Manage chronic conditions through ongoing follow-up, preventive care, and timely intervention for disease flare-ups.
- Coordinate care with specialists and multidisciplinary providers to support optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain compliance with clinical guidelines, documentation standards, and quality initiatives.
- Support team development through collaboration, mentorship, and ongoing professional growth.

Work Environment
- Outpatient rheumatology clinic.
- Frequent sitting, standing, and walking.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. as needed.

- Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program by start date
- Current, unrestricted licensure as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in the state of practice within 90 days of start date
- Board certification by a recognized national body (e.g., ANCC, NCCPA) within 90 days of start date
- Ability to manage complex patients with chronic autoimmune and musculoskeletal conditions
Preferred Qualification:
- Familiarity with musculoskeletal ultrasound
- Advanced knowledge of common rheumatologic diseases, including pathophysiology, clinical presentation, and treatment options
- Experience performing joint injections and aspirations
