What you will enjoy doing*
- In this role you will support Linde U.S. Corporate Income Tax Department in its
preparation of Federal, State, and local income tax returns, Federal and State examinations, and its income tax accounting for quarterly and year-end financial statement reporting. - Assist in the preparation of state, city and federal extensions and return filings
- Ensure accurate and timely estimated income tax payments and reporting of income tax returns
- Assist with state and city notices & audits
- Maintenance of payment and due date calendar for the Income Tax Department's critical deliverables
- Assist with tax provision calculations and with quarterly and year-end tax provision reporting under ASC 740
- Assist with special assignments such as research and analysis as requested, including legislative updates, scenario modeling, and tax technical topics
- Assist with digitalization improvements to streamline processes and improve analysis
What makes you great
- Bachelor's degree required (Accounting or Business); Master's degree preferred
- Some experience (1-2 years) either in public accounting and/or private corporate tax preferred
- Must be a strong self-directed professional with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced demanding environment, handle multiple tasks, problem solve and effectively follow-through
- Experience working collaboratively on teams
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft Suite Software
