Job Description

Positions Qualifications

The Facilities Associate, Workplace Porter supports a clean, safe, and presentation-ready workplace through daily porter and facilities services. This role is responsible for maintaining internal and external-facing spaces, supporting workplace readiness, and proactively identifying and addressing facility, safety, and maintenance needs.

Key Responsibilities

Workplace Presentation & Janitorial Services

  • Maintain offices, huddle and conference rooms, common areas, cafes, pantries, and employee spaces in a clean, organized, sanitized, and presentation-ready condition.
  • Perform porter rounds, including trash and recycling removal, high-touch surface cleaning, spill response, and routine workplace appearance audits.
  • Execute deep-cleaning tasks and detailed cleaning projects across workplace environments, ensuring spaces consistently meet hygiene, cleanliness, and presentation standards.
  • Proactively identify and address cleanliness, sanitation, and workplace appearance needs to support a positive employee and client experience.

Back-of-House Facilities & Amenities

  • Maintain restrooms, break rooms, kitchens, storage areas, and other back-of-house spaces in a clean, stocked, sanitized, and operationally ready condition.
  • Replenish restroom and workplace supplies while monitoring inventory levels and supporting replenishment activities.
  • Perform routine deep cleaning of back-of-house areas, fixtures, appliances, cabinetry, and amenity spaces to uphold workplace standards.
  • Ensure workplace amenities and support spaces consistently meet cleanliness, safety, sanitation, and presentation requirements.

Facilities Support & Service Excellence

  • Identify and escalate maintenance, repair, safety, and facility-related concerns to support workplace readiness.
  • Safely operate porter equipment and maintain service logs, checklists, and workplace documentation.
  • Partner with workplace services, hospitality teams, vendors, and building management to support daily operations and service requests.
  • Deliver professional, reliable service while adhering to company policies, safety requirements, and workplace standards.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1+ years of porter, facilities, office services, janitorial, or workplace support experience in a corporate, hospitality, or professional services environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills with a service-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work independently, follow established procedures, and communicate effectively with workplace teams.
  • Ability to lift and transport materials up to 50 pounds and perform duties requiring extended periods of standing, walking, bending, and movement throughout the workplace.

Additional Information

Thesalary range for this role at the noted RRD location is $20.53 - $28.70 / hour. Starting pay decisions are determined based on multiple factors including but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, skills, experience, certifications, proficiency, performance, shift, location, and other business needs.Typically, roles follow step progressions to a target rate or set increments over time. Depending on the role, in addition to the hourly rate of pay, the total compensation package may also include overtime, shift differential, call-in, and/or stand-by pay. RRD's benefit offerings include medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, disability insurance, 401(k) with company match, life insurance and other voluntary supplemental insurance coverages, plus parental leave, adoption assistance, tuition assistance and employer/partner discounts.
