As an RN supporting the Adolescent Inpatient Rehabilitation Department, you'll care for young patients with complex medical, developmental, and rehabilitative needs while helping them navigate an important stage of recovery and growth. Working alongside families and an experienced interdisciplinary rehabilitation team, you'll combine clinical expertise, education, advocacy, and encouragement to help each patient build skills and confidence for the next phase of their journey. To be considered for this Registered Nurse opportunity, you must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and hold an active New Jersey Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing. Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Provider certification is required. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification is required for inpatient nursing and, if not held at the time of hire, must be obtained within one year. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred, along with previous pediatric and/or rehabilitation nursing experience. For per diem opportunities, a minimum of one year of pediatric nursing experience is required. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong clinical assessment, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, along with a commitment to helping adolescents and their families achieve meaningful rehabilitation goals through compassionate, individualized care.
