We are seeking a dedicated professional to join a dynamic team, where your expertise will be instrumental in the accurate preparation and distribution of essential pharmaceuticals. In this impactful role, you will leverage cutting-edge fulfillment systems to ensure unparalleled accuracy and efficiency, directly contributing to patient health and satisfaction. Your commitment will be key to streamlining prescription processes and providing critical support to operations, ultimately contributing to the seamless delivery of healthcare services and the well-being of the community.

Key Responsibilities



  • Process prescription exceptions, which may include resolving claim rejects and conducting member and physician outreach to ensure continuity of care.
  • Accurately enter member demographics and prescription information into the data processing system, maintaining the highest standards of data integrity.
  • Research and resolve rejected insurance billing issues and/or escalated member concerns, acting as a vital link between patients and their medication access.
  • Escalate questions regarding prescriptions to a Pharmacist for interpretation or guidance on processing, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols.
  • Assist with inbound and/or outbound patient or physician communications, providing clear and compassionate support.
  • Perform other assigned duties to support comprehensive pharmacy operations, contributing to the overall efficiency and success of the team.


Qualifications



  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 2-4 years of experience in a similar pharmaceutical support role.
  • Current Registration and Certification as required by the state of operation.
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills for data entry and system navigation.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, critical for medication handling and data processing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, essential for effective patient and physician interactions.
  • Demonstrated ability to problem-solve and effectively resolve billing and prescription issues.
