  • Ensure inventory is accurately valued and COGS is correctly recorded in accordance with U.S. GAAP and company policies.
  • Analyze manufacturing, inventory, and purchase price variances, providing insightful analysis of key drivers, emerging risks, and opportunities to support operational and financial performance.
  • Lead inventory reserve analyses, including excess, obsolete, and slow-moving inventory assessments, and collaborate with business partners to evaluate inventory-related risks and trends.
  • Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities related to inventory, manufacturing costs and COGS, including preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting analyses.
  • Prepare financial analyses, management reporting, and supporting schedules related to inventory, manufacturing operations, and product profitability.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality and FP&A teams to provide accounting guidance and support costing analytics, budgeting, forecasting, business decisions and operational initiatives.
  • Drive continuous process improvement, automation, and system enhancement initiatives to improve the accuracy, efficiency, and scalability of inventory and cost accounting operations.
  • Support internal and external audits, including SOX compliance activities, with high-quality documentation and timely responses.
  • Maintain, execute, and continuously improve internal controls, accounting policies, procedures and documentation related to inventory, manufacturing, and cost accounting processes.
  • Provide accounting guidance and costing for new products and arrangements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's degree and/or MBA preferred).
  • CPA or CMA required (active certification preferred).
  • Minimum of 12 years of progressive finance and technical accounting experience, including public accounting and/or public company experience.
  • Minimum of eight years of cost accounting, standard costing, manufacturing, supply chain, internal controls, and SOX compliance experience (Med device, pharmaceutical, biotech, life sciences, or healthcare preferred).
  • Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred).
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft tools and financial data analysis.
  • Experience driving process improvement, automation, and scalable reporting solutions.
  • Experience working with contract manufacturing organizations ("CMOs") and third-party logistics providers ("3PLs").

In return, we offer you:

  • Full and comprehensive benefit program, including an Employee Stock Purchase Program and 401(k) matching.
  • Opportunities to grow in a culture that prioritizes learning, development and progression through in-house programs and tuition reimbursement.
  • A collaborative, innovative team that works as one to amplify your impact-on your career, the work you do and patients' lives.
