Equipment Training Coordinator

Hours: 8am to 5pm Mon-Fri

Location: In-office at the Hire Dynamics branch in Greer. Travel to various client sites as needed.

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic, professional trainer to deliver forklift and safety training programs in both classroom and hands-on environments. This role requires an individual who is comfortable presenting to large groups, engaging with clients, and serving as a trusted training partner. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator with strong presentation skills, a passion for safety, and the ability to confidently facilitate learning for employees at all levels. Responsibilities include conducting training sessions, building client relationships, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and creating a positive, engaging training experience.

We are seeking someone with 3 years or more of recent experience on the following:

Sit-Down Forklift
Reach Truck - must be able to operate this as a stand up only lift as well
Electric Pallet Jack- very fast- hardest piece of equipment in validation center to operate
Order Picker/Cherry Picker- cannot be afraid of heights

Your Role & Responsibilities

• Ensure PIT candidates have completed all required assessments per Employbridge standards prior to training and validation.
• Conduct classroom and hands-on forklift safety training for new hires and experienced operators.
• Evaluate candidates through written assessments and practical demonstrations of forklift operation.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date training records, skill evaluations, and site-specific certifications.
• Comply with Employbridge PIT Onboarding Program, OSHA, and internal safety policies and procedures.
• Use tools such as Microsoft Excel and Power BI to track, analyze, and report training data; identify trends and recommend areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with operations and safety teams to address and resolve forklift-related safety concerns.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for PIT operations and upskilling during client visits and presentations to help secure new business and support client retention and expansion.
• Participate in site safety audits and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Foster a team-oriented, safety-first culture in the validation center.

Preferred Education, Skills, and Experience

• High school diploma or GED required; additional training in occupational safety or PIT instruction is a plus.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience operating and/or training others on forklift equipment.
• Train-the-Trainer certification or experience strongly preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of forklift operation, OSHA standards, and safety best practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; Power BI experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication, instructional, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and documentation abilities.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to train others in a clear, engaging, and effective manner.
• Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and adaptability.
• Ability to interact respectfully with individuals from diverse socio-economic backgrounds.
