Total Negotiated Salary (TNS) calculation includes AAMC salary benchmarks for Dermatology ranging from $333,875.67 - $425,000. The posted UC salary scales set the base pay determined by rank and/or step at appointment. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan, which provides for eligibility for additional compensation.

Health Sciences Clinical Professor Series, Open Ranks

Department of Dermatology, UC Irvine

The Department of Dermatology at the University of California, Irvine is recruiting outstanding applicants for a Dermatologist at the Assistant, Associate or full Professor level. Responsibilities include patient care, teaching, and academic activities. The successful candidate will work with a collaborative group of 26 faculty, 16 residents, 1 fellow, and dedicated staff. The UCI Skin Club has in excess of 30 members across the campus in basic sciences and other disciplines.

Requirements: Applicants must possess an MD, PhD, or MD/PhD in Dermatology or a related field (or equivalent). Candidates should be board certified or board eligible in Dermatology and must be eligible for licensure in California. The Department will consider individuals who demonstrate strong capabilities in teaching, professional competence and activity, and University and public service, consistent with the expectations of the HS Clinical Professor series at the UCI Department of Dermatology.

Positions are dependent upon funding. Rank will be determined based on qualifications and experience. Initial appointments are for one year and renewal is based on availability of support. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
