Job Summary

The Shipping & Receiving Coordinator II is responsible for performing shipping, receiving, inventory, and warehouse operations to ensure the accurate movement of materials, parts, and equipment. This role processes inbound and outbound shipments, maintains shipping documentation, tracks inventory using computerized systems, and ensures compliance with shipping procedures and transportation requirements. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Job Responsibilities



  • Receive, inspect, verify, and process incoming materials, parts, and equipment.
  • Prepare, package, and ship materials in accordance with shipping procedures and customer requirements.
  • Operate computerized inventory and shipping systems to track, log, verify, and report shipping and receiving activities.
  • Verify quantities, weights, and material identification against shipping documentation.
  • Process freight bills, packing slips, bills of lading, and other shipping documentation.
  • Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records.
  • Route materials to designated warehouse, inventory, or production locations.
  • Pack, unpack, wrap, and prepare finished products, raw materials, assemblies, and equipment for shipment.
  • Use basic hand tools as needed to support shipping and receiving activities.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Follow established shipping procedures, transportation regulations, and company safety policies.
  • Collaborate with warehouse, production, and logistics teams to support daily operations.
  • Perform additional shipping, receiving, and warehouse duties as assigned.


Job Requirements



  • Minimum of two (2) to five (5) years of experience in shipping and receiving or warehouse operations.
  • Experience with goods receiving, packing, freight documentation, bills of lading, and computerized inventory or shipping systems required.
  • Experience using shipping carriers such as UPS or FedEx preferred.
  • Forklift experience or certification preferred.
  • Hazardous materials shipping experience or certification preferred.
  • DOT and IATA shipping knowledge or certification preferred.
  • Aerospace shipping and receiving experience preferred.
  • Ability to operate basic hand tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • U.S. citizenship required.


Education



  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
