The Program Director, Pharmacy Education and Professional Excellence provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for all workforce training, continuous education, professional advancement, postgraduate residency programs, and students within the pharmacy. This position is directly responsible for initial program planning, curriculum architecture, and long-term compliance of employee training pathways spanning licensed pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and students. The Program Director serves as the institutional liaison for ASHP residency accreditation, leading efforts to achieve, maintain, and defend accreditation while advancing the health system's educational strategy. This role standardizes onboarding, accelerates competency development through innovative instructional methods and automation, and aligns cross-functional education with ANCC Magnet frameworks. Success requires close collaboration and regular communication with pharmacy leadership, clinical pharmacists, and pharmacy technicians at National Medical Center - Duarte.
