ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Skill bock design is comprised of Operations, Maintenance, and Leadership skills.

  • Unless otherwise directed operators will rotate among themselves and be responsible for the designated business unit operation.

  • Discuss with relief any important information - HPO Pass on information, unfinished work

  • Complete required Safety STOP observations

  • Perform all other duties as required by position

  • Perform all other duties assigned

  • Participate in all plant initiatives

  • SKILL & ABILITY

  • To operate and remain accountable for assigned operation, leadership and maintainer functions

  • Must be able to utilize the supplied computer system to perform required duties

  • Willing and able to perform all required tasks associated with role, within the Business unit

  • Able to work independently with minimal guidance

  • Able to work in a team environment

  • Ability to learn and utilize the following programs: SAP, Excellent verbal, written, listening and reading skill

  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks

  • Attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to complete minor adjustments and troubleshoot equipment/inventory items in receiving warehouse

  • Consult with management in developing, improving and modifying standard work instructions and training manuals

  • Work in conjunction with production to prevent any unscheduled downtime within business units

  • Help in the establishment of and maintenance of inventory system transactions

  • Participate openly in Problem solving, implementation of changes, safety analysis, area audits.

  • Facilitate and participate in Shift and DDS meetings and present results.

  • Communicate schedule changes, raw material management, raw materials/ingredients/packaging product management - Holds.

  • Assist in training of other technicians, improve/modify Work instructions, etc.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.

  • Be available for overtime and call-ins.

  • Maintain effective communication with the Team Leader through conversations, reports, and meetings.

  • Be able to analyze problems and suggest effective solutions.

  • Must be able to follow, interpret, modify, distribute, and account for the production schedule.

  • Must be able to perform all work tasks while following the procedures.

  • Must have knowledge of policies related to Safety, GMP, and Food Safety.

  • Must be able to be certified to operate Powered Industrial Equipment (*PIE) in accordance with company policies. (*if applicable to role).

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

The starting rate for this full-time, hourly position is $28.99 p/hr.

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
