Department:Allied Health DivisionDepartment's Website: Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Teach classroom, laboratory, simulation, hybrid, and online nursing courses. * Develop syllabi, assessments, and instructional materials. * Evaluate student learning and clinical competencies. * Supervise students in clinical settings. * Participate in curriculum development and accreditation activities. * Provide academic advising and mentoring. * Serve on committees and support college initiatives. * Maintain current licensure and professional development. * Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Required Qualifications * Current unrestricted Arkansas RN license. * Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). * Three years of recent clinical nursing experience. * Eligibility to teach under Arkansas State Board of Nursing requirements. * Strong communication and technology skills. Preferred Qualifications * Master of Science in Nursing. * Previous ADN or BSN teaching experience. * Simulation and curriculum development experience. * Rural healthcare experience. * Nursing specialty certification. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities * Knowledge of nursing practice and education principles. * Ability to teach and evaluate nursing students. * Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. * Commitment to student success and continuous improvement. Physical Requirements Ability to work in classroom, laboratory, simulation, and clinical environments and demonstrate nursing procedures as needed.
