Location: Arden Hills, MN (Hybrid: 3 days onsite per week)

Pay Rate: Up to $52.50/hour

We are seeking an experienced Buyer to support supply chain, procurement, inventory management, and production planning activities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive, results-driven professional who thrives on solving problems, improving processes, and driving operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and monitor materials throughout the production cycle.
• Manage inventory levels, material control, shipping, receiving, storage, and distribution activities.
• Source inventory and non-inventory materials and services.
• Partner with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and continuity of supply.
• Process purchase orders for indirect goods and services (MRO and non-product purchases).
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, Accounting, and Quality.
• Support month-end inventory and cost management activities.
• Identify automation opportunities and support supply chain digital transformation initiatives.
• Apply Lean and Six Sigma principles to improve procurement and planning processes.
• Utilize AI-powered tools to enhance productivity, reporting, and decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
• 6+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, materials planning, purchasing, or inventory management.
• Project management experience.
• Strong SAP aptitude and ability to quickly learn new systems.
• Self-starter with a sense of urgency and strong problem-solving skills.
• Experience with AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT Enterprise, or procurement technology platforms.
