We are looking for a Senior Counsel-M&A to join our Legal team. Reporting to the Deputy General Counsel, Strategic Transactions & Technology, the Senior Counsel - M&A will be based in any North American city with a Clarivate office and will form part of a highly respected global legal team. This role will be a legal business partner supporting Clarivate's corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, financing, complex commercial agreements, and more. About the Team The team is a highly collaborative group focused on supporting the company's most critical legal and business initiatives. The team includes professionals specializing in M&A, intellectual property, technology transactions, vendor agreements, content licensing, AI governance, and corporate finance. Team members are located across the United States, Canada, Europe, and Asia, creating a dynamic and globally connected environment. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on sophisticated, high-value M&A and strategic transactions. Hours of Work This is a full-time, permanent position working primarily during core business hours. Flexibility will be required to support colleagues and stakeholders across multiple global time zones. This is a hybrid role with an expectation of working in the office up to three days per week. Compensation The expected base salary for this position is $192,000-$240,000 CAD per year/$165,000-$205,000 USD per year. This role is eligible for a 15% Annual Incentive Plan (AIP). Individual pay is based upon experience, education, skills, expertise, and other relevant factors.
