SUMMARY OF POSITION

The Onsite Customer Analyst position is responsible for advancing the Company's key objectives, utilizing category management and data analysis expertise as it relates to specific sales channels/Key accounts. While effectively collaborating with multiple internal and external teams, this role is responsible for supporting our customer in day-to-day operations along with strategic planning for future business. This onsite position is located at the Menards corporate headquarters in Eau Claire, WI.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.



  • Lead customer and internal data management processes to ensure accurate, timely, and actionable business reporting across sales, inventory, forecasting, service, and operational performance measures.
  • Manage recurring reporting cycles that support business performance evaluation, customer engagement, category management, and internal decision-making.
  • Oversee inventory health, replenishment performance, and service-level analysis to identify business risks, resolve supply chain exceptions, and support optimal in-stock position.
  • Support demand planning and replenishment processes through forecast maintenance, order-flow analysis, and proactive identification of opportunities that may impact customer orders or business continuity.
  • Analyze category, promotional, item, and store-level performance to develop insights that support sales growth, margin improvement, inventory productivity, and strategic business planning.
  • Serve as a primary liaison between the Menards and internal cross-functional teams to coordinate communication, resolve business issues, and support effective execution of customer programs.
  • Utilize Menards reporting platforms, internal systems, and analytical tools to translate complex data into meaningful insights, recommendations, and performance improvement opportunities.
  • Prepare and support business reviews, planning meetings, scorecards, and periodic performance evaluations by summarizing results, identifying key drivers, and communicating future business priorities.
  • Support all aspects of the Menards HQ corporate merchants, inventory, and replenishment managers along with all Menards DC's/warehouse and stores.


Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently, detail orientation, desire to learn, ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work on strict deadlines.



JOB REQUIREMENTS



  • Bachelor's degree preferably in business, operations management, or related, quantitative fields.
  • 2+ years' experience at either retail or consumer product manufacturer is preferred.
  • Ability to convert data into actionable insights.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
  • Strong computer, data management, and analytical skills (MS Office Suite, Co-Pilot)
  • Ability to work in the office five days a week at the Menards headquarters in Eau Claire, WI.

  • Ability to work in front of a laptop and workstation for extended periods of time
  • Occasional standing, sitting, walking, and talking on the phone
  • Schedule flexibility to include weekend and after-hours workload
  • Some travel is required to the Shurtape headquarters or Menards stores.
