Responsibilities ROLE OVERVIEW We are looking for a senior software engineer who has built and shipped complex, high-reliability systems and wants to spend the next stage of their career applying AI to real engineering products. Our team builds AI-powered features into Keysight's digital measurement instruments, including sampling and real-time oscilloscopes, BERTs, and AWGs. We are not a research group. We partner with the product teams that own those roadmaps, and everything we build is aimed at shipping into instruments that engineers depend on to design and validate hardware. You do not need prior AI experience or test and measurement experience to be a strong fit. We care most about senior engineering judgment: designing systems that are correct, testable, and maintainable, working through ambiguous problems, and delivering production software. We will invest in teaching you the AI side (agentic systems, retrieval-augmented generation, tool calling, evaluation of non-deterministic behavior) and the measurement domain, working alongside our Solutions Architect and domain experts. This role may be a good fit if you:
