Who we are looking for:

The Asset Inspector is responsible for inspecting, documenting, monitoring, and reporting on bank-owned and loan collateral assets to ensure proper maintenance, accurate records, regulatory compliance, and asset value preservation. This role conducts physical inspections of real estate, vehicles, cattle, equipment, and other collateral assets owned or managed by the bank, providing detailed reports to support operational, financial, and risk management decisions.

What you'll do:



  • Conduct inspections of properties, equipment, vehicles, and other assets.
  • Verify the condition, location, and utilization of assets and document findings accurately.
  • Complete inspection reports, photographs, and assessments in accordance with bank policies and procedures.
  • Monitor assets held as collateral and identify potential risks, damage, or depreciation.
  • Coordinate with branch personnel, facility management, vendors, and third-party service providers regarding asset conditions and maintenance needs.
  • Investigate discrepancies in asset inventories and recommend corrective actions.
  • Assist with audits and examinations by providing documentation and inspection reports.
  • Track maintenance requirements and recommend repairs, replacement, or disposal of assets when appropriate.
  • Evaluate foreclosed or repossessed assets and provide condition assessments.
  • Support risk management efforts by identifying issues that may impact asset value or operational efficiency.


What you'll need to be successful:

  • Demonstrate ethical character and judgement with attention to respect, commitment, integrity, values and confidential boundaries

  • Must be a self-starter and able to work independently possessing good effective time management skills and ability to organize and prioritize
  • Highly reliable with the ability to maintain regular attendance and punctuality
  • Sensitivity to confidential information is required
  • Superb communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be analytical and have creative thinking
  • Must be approachable and present a positive attitude
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Represent the bank in a professional manner during and outside of office hours
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent work experience
  • Knowledge of loan documentation a plus
