Widener University is currently seeking an Assistant Director in the Office of Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS). The Assistant Director is a 10-month role that works alongside the Executive Director combining clinical care and administrative responsibilities. This role is responsible for providing access to psychotherapy, education, clinical assessment and referral to psychiatric services for the university's diverse student population, along with administrative responsibilities to assist with the provision and implementation of programs and services in CAPS. The position reports to the Executive Director of CAPS and subsequently to the Associate Vice President of Wellbeing and Belonging with the Division of Student Engagement & Transformation. CAPS applies a holistic approach to help students achieve greater self-awareness and self-regulation, improve relationships and attain independence as they progress towards successful degree completion. The Assistant director would also take on additional administrative and leadership roles both within CAPS, as well as across the University community.
