Job Description
The Opportunity: The internal audit activities are designed to add strategic and operational value to the University, as well as provide management and trustees with assurance as to the integrity of internal controls specifically and business processes generally. Internal Audit reports to the Executive Director of Internal Audit, Risk, and Compliance and implements a risk-based audit plan in consultation with senior management and the governance committees of the University. The Senior Internal Auditor is responsible for performing internal audits as prescribed in the Audit Plan under the supervision of the Manager of Internal Audit. The auditor may be asked to lead financial, operational, compliance, and other special audits/investigations to provide independent assurance that the University's risk management, governance, and internal control processes are designed well and operating effectively. The position's title and compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience. Key Responsibilities
