Location: Lafayette, Louisiana - Supporting Site- Remote
Employment Type: Contract (6 Months) with Potential for Long-Term Opportunity
Industry: Manufacturing & Industrial Operations
Compensation: $25-28 Hourly
Schedule: 1st Shift (7:00 AM-4:00 PM or 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, Monday-Friday)

What You'll Do

As the primary administrative contact for the site, you'll help ensure day-to-day operations run efficiently while supporting both employees and leadership.

Administrative & Employee Support
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employees and visitors
  • Provide exceptional customer service and administrative support
  • Assist with onboarding activities for new employees
  • Coordinate computer equipment requests and IT support
  • Support fleet vehicle administration
  • Answer questions and direct employees to the appropriate resources
Front Office Operations
  • Answer and route incoming phone calls professionally
  • Welcome visitors and assist with general inquiries
  • Maintain organized office records and documentation
  • Support leadership with administrative projects and scheduling
Shipping, Receiving & Mail Services
  • Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages
  • Coordinate UPS, FedEx, and courier shipments
  • Track incoming deliveries and notify appropriate personnel
  • Assist with shipping and receiving documentation
  • Help organize warehouse and storage areas
Office Operations & Vendor Coordination
  • Coordinate office supplies, snacks, and catering for meetings
  • Support facility vendors including:
    • Janitorial services
    • Coffee services
    • Pest control
    • Shredding services
    • First-aid supplies
  • Assist with office improvement projects and facility initiatives
Team & Business Support
  • Collaborate with regional administrative teams
  • Support office events and employee engagement activities
  • Assist with special projects as business needs arise
  • Help improve office processes and efficiencies
Job Requirements
What You'll Bring
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 2+ years of administrative, office support, customer service, or operations experience
  • Experience supporting shipping & receiving, mail services, warehouse operations, or office coordination is preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Professional, dependable, and self-motivated
Preferred Skills

Experience with:

  • Microsoft Outlook
  • Microsoft Word
  • Microsoft Excel
  • Microsoft PowerPoint

  • SAP (preferred but not required)
