A Wellness Coach is compassionate, student-empowering and solution-focused. In this role, you will support students through one-on-one coaching, facilitate group coaching sessions, and collaborate with campus partners to promote overall well-being. Join our pack!
Contribute:
Facilitate: Lead individual and group wellness coaching sessions. Develop: Create and deliver wellness workshops and presentations. Conduct: Facilitate basic health and wellness assessments and properly communicate results to participants. Create: Foster wellness programming opportunities for unique student groups and populations. Collaborate: Work with campus groups and marketing staff to promote wellness initiatives. Risk Management: Knowledge and implementation of emergency action plan. Training and Meetings: Attend required training and monthly staff meetings. Community: Develop professional relationships with co-workers, participants and guests. Support: Perform other related duties to support the overall functioning of the department.

Requirements:
Eligibility: Current full-time NC State student, demonstrated by enrollment in at least 12 undergraduate or 9 graduate credit hours.
Working Conditions:
Environment: Both indoors and outdoors with potential exposure to weather conditions (heat, cold, light rain). Physical: Frequent standing, sitting, walking, bending and reaching. Sensory: Potentially loud and busy work environment that requires strong communication and observation skills. Schedule: Flexibility in your availability is needed to potentially work early mornings, late nights, weekends, and breaks.
