Job Description

As a Production Trainer you will play a critical role in ensuring our manufacturing team maintains the highest standards of safety, quality, and operational efficiency. You will be responsible for onboarding new hires and providing ongoing technical training to existing operators on complex fab equipment and cleanroom protocols. The ideal candidate will blend deep technical knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing with a passion for mentorship and instructional design.

This Job Is For You If
  • Develop, coordinate, and deliver training programs for new Production Operators covering cleanroom protocols, wafer handling, equipment operation, safety procedures, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Conduct hands-on training, evaluate operator competency, certify personnel on manufacturing processes and equipment, and provide refresher or remedial training as needed
  • Monitor production floor performance to identify knowledge gaps and conduct remedial training to maintain strict compliance with quality standards and yield targets
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for hazardous material handling and fab safety protocols, ensuring all trainees adhere to the highest safety requirements
  • Maintain accurate training records and certification matrices, and update training materials to reflect process changes or new tool installations
  • Partner with Engineering and Production Supervisors to align training objectives with current production requirements and capacity goals
Job Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a semiconductor manufacturing environment (200mm fab experience highly preferred).
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes, cleanroom protocols, equipment operation, and the ability to interpret technical documentation and SOPs.
  • Instructional Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, coaching, and interpersonal skills with the ability to train individuals and groups effectively.
  • Adaptability: Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while responding to changing production needs.
  • Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent military/industrial certification preferred.
  • Certifications: Strong preference for candidates with existing cleanroom certifications or industrial trainer certifications.
