Business Development Manager | Protein & Commodity Sales Location: Los Angeles, CA | Company: RW Zant | Department: Sales Employment Type: Full-Time | Exempt Pay Range: $110,00- $125,000 Drive Growth. Build Relationships. Make an Impact. RW Zant, is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to expand our custom cut protein business throughout Southern California and beyond. If you're a results-driven sales professional with experience in protein, meat, poultry, beef, pork, foodservice, or wholesale food distribution, this is an exciting opportunity to join an industry leader known for quality products, exceptional service, and lasting customer relationships. In this role, you'll develop new business opportunities, strengthen key customer partnerships, and work closely with production and operations teams to deliver customized protein solutions that help our customers succeed. What You'll Do As our Business Development Manager, you will:
What We're Looking For Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, or related field (or equivalent experience) 5+ years of Business Development, Outside Sales, or Account Management experience Experience in the meat, poultry, protein, foodservice, food manufacturing, or food distribution industry Proven success developing new business while growing existing customer accounts Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills Excellent communication and organizational abilities Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite Preferred Qualifications Experience selling custom cut protein products Knowledge of USDA and FDA regulations Bilingual (English/Spanish) Experience working with cold chain logistics or perishable food products Why RW Zant?
