Security Officer Access Coordinator

As a Security Officer Access Coordinator in Three Rivers, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support site access procedures while conducting routine patrols and remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, screening visitors, vendors, and/or contractors, and supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points at a chemical and petrochemical location, verify credentials and/or authorizations, and document access-related activity according to post instructions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to supervisors, site contacts, and/or emergency personnel.
• Help to deter unauthorized access by observing people, vehicles, and/or deliveries entering or leaving the location and reporting suspicious or policy-related concerns.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, gates, checkpoints, and perimeter locations as directed, noting hazards, operational issues, and/or security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
