DESCRIPTION OF WORK

This position provides clerical support for driver licensing services by reviewing petitions, updating records, and assisting customers with sanctioned driver requirements. As a Clerical Assistant 3, you will perform the following duties:
- Petition Review: Examine petitions and driver records to determine eligibility for Ignition Interlock Limited Licenses
- Record Processing: Update driver records by entering data from forms, statements, and mailed documents
- Work Distribution: Log incoming work, assign tasks, and support processing goals within the unit
- Customer Communication: Respond to public inquiries by researching records and providing clear information
- Fee Handling: Manage fee documentation, ensure proper waiver codes, and maintain accurate drawer procedures
- Product Management: Track license products for sanctioned drivers and return them with required correspondence

- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as a Clerical Assistant 2 (commonwealth title) (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- One year of moderately complex clerical experience; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Additional Requirements:
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
